The Moore & Giles Virginia 10 Miler
The historic Moore & Giles Virginia 10 Miler will celebrate its 51st year running on September 27, 2025. Join more than 4,000 runners on a historic course that has hosted participants from around the globe. The 10 mile run, 4+ mile run and 4+ mile walk invite men, women, and children of all abilities to participate.
The festivities begin Thursday night with packet pick-up, continue Friday with the Amazing Mile Children's Run, and a fun, family-friendly festival in downtown Lynchburg. On Saturday, thousands will take part in the 10 mile run and our 4+ mile run/walk with our 11th Mile After Party to follow later that afternoon.
The Lynchburg Road Runners Club, founded in 1973 to organize the Virginia 10 Miler, continues to own and organize the Moore & Giles 10 Miler and its associated events.
