The Toughest Backyard Ultra

The Toughest Backyard Ultra is a unique endurance event where runners must complete a 4.1-mile loop every hour until only one person remains. Each participant carries a $100 bill throughout the race, surrendering it if they drop out.

Event Details

The event takes place at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia. The challenging course includes rugged trails and 605 steps, providing a true test of endurance.

Rules and Regulations

All runners must be present 30 minutes before the start of the race and carry their $100 bill at all times. Late starts are not allowed, and runners must complete the loop within 60 minutes to avoid disqualification.

Support and Amenities

Support crews are allowed at the finish area, and runners are provided with snacks, water, and timing services. Free admission and parking to the park are included for participants.
