Tryptophan Half Marathon/10K/5K event

Event Details

This annual event invites runners and walkers to celebrate Thanksgiving with a choice of courses: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and a Fun Run. Runners will have the option to participate either in person or virtually with race packets mailed to virtual participants.

Race Day

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025
• Start Times: Half Marathon - 7:30 am, 10K - 7:45 am, 5K - 8:00 am, Fun Run 1K - 9:00 am, Virtual - whenever, wherever

Cost

Prices vary based on the distance and registration date:

• Half Marathon: $45 until 9/3, $55 until 10/12, $60 until 10/29, $65 until 11/19, $70 through Race Day
• 10K: $30 until 9/3, $35 until 10/12, $40 until 10/29, $45 until 11/19, $50 through Race Day
• 5K: $25 until 9/3, $30 until 10/12, $35 until 10/29, $40 until 11/19, $45 through Race Day
• Fun Run: $20
• Virtual: $40

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Location TBD) and also on race day starting at 6:30 am.

Packing and Awards

All participants will receive a custom race bib, finishers medal, and long-sleeve tee. Awards will be given to overall winners and age group winners.
