Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Lake George, NY

The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty. This event in Lake George aims to bring the community together to honor our heroes and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.

Event Details

This is a 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk event. Participants can run, walk, or experience the event. Water stations will be available along the route and at the start/finish line. Strollers, wheelchairs, firefighter turnout gear, and military backpacks are permitted. Personal items should be stored securely at the owner's risk.

Registration and Fundraising

Registration fees do not count towards the fundraising goal. Participants can donate to teams and individuals even after the event. Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies/organizations. Donations of goods or services are also welcome. Participants can fundraise and encourage others to donate. Offline donations can be mailed to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Additional Information

Participants can transfer their registration to another person. Refunds are not provided, but registration can be transferred. Volunteers are needed and can sign up by emailing the event organizers. Medical staff and Emergency Medical Service teams will be available on-site.
