Tuscaloosa Half Marathon + 5K

Event Overview

The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon is the longest distance running race held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama each year. Runners get a sampling of the rolling hills along the Black Warrior River, the Tuscaloosa River Walk, portions of the University of Alabama campus, and quaint downtown neighborhoods. There are options to participate in the 5K or the Alabama Credit Union 1 Mile Fun Run.

Event Details

The Start and Finish line is located at Government Plaza where participants have plenty of space to spread out, enjoy the run, and celebrate with live music, good food, and cold beer.

FRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR) is committed to keeping this popular race a local favorite and a regional attraction for runners from all over the Southeast. Portions of registration proceeds are directed to selected charity partners and other volunteer and philanthropic groups.
