About the Event

SPC Michael R. DeMarsico, age 20, volunteered to lead his battalion in Afghanistan, where he lost his life on August 16, 2012. This event honors his sacrifice and supports those currently serving.

Registration Fee

Pre-registration: $20
Day of event registration: $25 (available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM on event day).

Participants are encouraged to bring items for care packages to send to deployed service members.

Course Information

The starting line is at the Veteran's Memorial. Runners will continue onto Eagle St, crossing Main Street, then Ashland St. Walkers will turn around at the North Adams Armory. The race finishes at the American Legion, following a primarily open course with police presence.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is available on Saturday evening, November 8, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the North Adams American Legion.

Shirts

Shirts will be available for the first 100 registrants; additional shirts may be available for purchase.

• Walk - $20.00 - 1mi
• Virtual Runner - $20.00
