Wild Turkey Trail Runs

Join us for a Free Trail Race at Valley Falls State Park on Saturday August 16th, 2025! This event features multiple distances including 50M, 50K, 25K, 10M, and 5M, catering to runners of all levels.

Event Details

The race will start at 7:00 AM for the 50 Miler and at 7:30 AM for all other distances. The course is a moderately difficult 10 mile figure 8 loop with an elevation gain of approximately 1500ft per loop.

Registration

This is a FREE race, and we will provide food and drinks, but participants are encouraged to bring their own fuel. Race shirts are available for purchase for $25.

Finisher Rewards

All finishers will receive free giveaways including car stickers and fun homemade medals!

Camping and Volunteering

While there is no camping at Valley Falls State Park, nearby Coopers Rock and Tygart Lake State Park offer camping options. Volunteers are greatly appreciated, and interested individuals should notify the race director.
