Wings Over Wausau 5K

Event Details

The race will start and finish at the Elmwood Blvd. entrance to the Wings Over Wausau event. Be prepared for a flat, fast, and scenic route!

Schedule

8:00 AM: Race starts - Walkers/Strollers in back, please. NO "wheels" (bikes, roller blades, scooters, etc.) or dogs allowed.
9:30 AM: Awards for the top participants in each age group.

Registration

$30 pre-race registration (credit card fees apply). Registration Deadline is May 26th to guarantee a t-shirt! Day-of registration will be $40, and a shirt is not guaranteed. The event is capped at 1,000 entries. Event will benefit Wausau Events, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Packet Pick-Up

No early packet pick-up. All packets will be available on race morning starting at 7 AM.

Course Information

The course starts and ends at Wausau Airport inside the Elmwood Blvd. gate. It features a flat and fast route through the SES Neighborhood.

Awards

Awards will be given for the top overall male and female runners, as well as the top 3 finishers in each age group and gender. Awards will be handed out around 9:30 AM.

Parking Information

Parking is limited around the Airport, so please obey no-parking signs and respect the neighbors.

Weather Policy

The race will take place rain or shine unless severe weather occurs. There are no refunds for race cancellations.
