Buller Gorge Marathon 2025

Welcome to the Buller Gorge Marathon 2025! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, starting at 8:30 am NZDT. The marathon course commences at Hawks Crag and heads up the gorge to a turning point near Berlin’s, then back down the scenic, undulating Buller Gorge Highway to a finish at Victoria Square, Westport.

Half and Full Marathon: 8.30 am
Teams Relay: 8.35 am
Buller Heritage 10 Fun Run: 9.30 am

Registration Fees

Early Bird: $95.00 (Aug 8 – Nov 30)
Standard: $115.00 (Dec 1 – Jan 12)
Late: $130.00 (Jan 13 – Jan 31)
Super Late Entry: $150.00 (Feb 1 – Feb 7)

10K Course

Enjoy the stunning landscape of the Kawatiri Coastal Trails' Puwaha section from Buller Bridge to Carters Beach and back to town. Run or walk the beautiful 10K course amidst wetlands, gravel trails, and boardwalks.
