Chester County 5k Winter Series - Race #1

Event Details

The Chester County 5k Winter Series is a great way to break up your winter training. The series features five weeks of races at the fast and PR-friendly Downingtown West High School course, equipped with MyLaps bibtag timing for quick and accurate results.

Race Start Times

• RACE #1: Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM
• RACE #2: Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM
• RACE #3: Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM
• RACE #4: Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM (5k & 10k)
• RACE #5: Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM

Course Information

The 5k course will run around the Downingtown West and Middle School campuses. This course is known for its speed and offers an excellent opportunity for a winter personal record.

Awards

Top 10 results will be based on Age-Grading. The overall race winners will receive gift cards from Bryn Mawr Running Company - West Chester. Additionally, series winners who complete at least three races will receive a free pair of shoes from Bryn Mawr Running Company.

Race Day Registration

Race day registration and bib pickup will be available starting approximately one hour before the race in the gym lobby at Downingtown West.

Timing and Results

Results will be posted live by Chester County Racing Services using the disposable MyLaps Bibtag system.

Race will only be changed or canceled in case of severe weather conditions. Please check the website or social media for updates.
