OWL Ultra 15H - 2025

About the Event

The OWL Ultra is a unique endurance race where participants must complete a 6.7 km loop every hour for 15 hours. Runners who do not finish a loop will receive a DNF (Did Not Finish). The winner is determined when only one runner completes a loop or when the 15 hours are up; in the latter case, the runner with the fastest last lap wins.

Race Rules

• Each participant must complete the loops in under 60 minutes.
• Each runner can have a maximum of one crew member, and they cannot be replaced after the race starts.
• No assistance may be given once the runner starts their loop.
• Runners cannot leave the track during their loop, except for restroom breaks.
• Runners must be at the starting area before the next loop starts.
• Runners must always leave with their bib/bracelet.
• No shortcuts or cheating allowed.
• After completing their loop, runners are free to access the "rest area" with their crew.
• No spectators are allowed in the rest area, but they can cheer on the runners from the track.
• Any rule violations will result in disqualification.
• The winner at the end of the 15 hours will be the one to complete the 15th loop the fastest!

Schedule

• 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Bib distribution and crew setup in the rest area.
• 7:30 AM: Pre-race meeting.
• 8:00 AM: Start of the first loop.
• 9:00 AM: Start of the second loop.
• 10:00 AM: ...

Location

The event will take place at 141 Boulevard Taché Est, Montmagny, QC, G5V 1B9. The resting area will be located on the grass in the center of the athletic track, with toilets available at the start. Electricity will not be provided, so participants should bring their own food and tent (maximum size 10x10 feet) to set up on the grassy area from the day before.
