TRI for Kids Triathlon #1

Welcome to the TRI for KIDS Triathlon #1! This exciting event is part of the TRI for KIDS Triathlon Series, featuring three races in 2025. The first race will take place on June 8th at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California.

Event Details

The TRI for KIDS Triathlon is designed for boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years. Participants will have the option of a 50 meter or 150 meter swim, followed by a four-mile bike ride and a one-mile run. The swim course will be monitored by safety kayakers and lifeguards to ensure the safety of all participants.

Course Information

For children aged 5 to 10, the course includes a 50 meter swim, a four-mile bike ride, and a one-mile run. For those aged 11 to 14, the course features a 150 meter swim, a four-mile bike ride, and a one-mile run. The bike course will be closed to traffic and monitored for safety.

Awards and Recognition

All finishers will receive a race finisher ribbon, and age group awards will be presented to the top three athletes in each one-year age group. Additionally, awards will be given to the top athletes racing in all three events of the TRI for KIDS Series.

Registration Information

Registration opens at 6:30 am on race day, with the race announcements beginning at 7:00 am. The race will start at 7:30 am. Please note that there is a $12 park entrance fee per vehicle.
