TRI for Kids Triathlon #3

Join us for the TRI for KIDS Triathlon #3 at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California. This exciting event is designed for boys and girls aged 5 to 14, featuring a swim, bike, and run course tailored to different age groups.

Event Details

The TRI for KIDS Triathlon Series includes three races in 2025, with the final event on August 10th. Participants will swim either 50 meters or 150 meters, bike 4 miles, and run 1 mile. The swim course is monitored by safety kayakers and lifeguards, ensuring a safe experience for all athletes.

Course Information

For ages 5 to 10, the course includes a 50-meter swim, a 4-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Athletes aged 11 to 14 will swim 150 meters, followed by the same bike and run distances. The bike course is closed to traffic, and water stations will be available.

Awards and Recognition

Age group awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each category. Every finisher will receive a race finisher button. Additionally, awards will be given to the top athletes competing in all three events of the series.

Race Day Schedule

Registration opens at 6:30 am, followed by transition area access and race announcements. The race starts at 7:30 am. Please note that there is a $12 park entrance fee per vehicle.

Refund and Transfer Policy

TBF Racing has a no refund policy, but credits may be issued for cancellations prior to race week. Transfers between events are allowed with a fee.
