18th Annual Medved Madness Trail Races

Event Details

The Madness will consist of two separate races. The Long Course will be roughly 13 miles, with an early start option for those expecting to take over three hours. The Short Course will be roughly five miles, without an early start option.

Course Information

The courses are different each year due to varying trail conditions. A basic aid station will be available for the Long Course; participants must carry their own hydration and nutrition. The estimated distances are as follows:

• Long Course: ~13 miles
• Short Course: ~5 miles

Post-Race Events

The traditional BBQ will be back after the race. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some great food!

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. While there will be morning packet pickup on race day, we recommend picking up on Saturday to avoid delays.

Start Times:

• Early Start: 7:30 am (for registered participants)
• Long Course: 8:00 am
• Short Course: 9:00 am

Awards

The award ceremony will occur around 11:30 am.

Kids Race

Each kid participating should pick up a KidsK bib. The Kids' race will start at 10:30 am.
