The Skagit Bicycle Club invites all cyclists to participate in the Skagit Spring Classic, an annual bicycle ride offering scenic routes ranging from 25 to 100 miles. Starting from Bayview Elementary, cyclists will traverse the flat roads of Skagit Valley and face the challenging climbs of Chuckanut Drive, all while taking in breathtaking views of the Salish Sea and Mount Baker.
All riders are welcome, including e-bikes. The event is fully supported with a well-marked course, SAG vehicles, and rest stops stocked with homemade cookies, water, Hammer Heed, and other goodies. Each participant will receive a pair of custom Skagit Spring Classic socks and a hot spaghetti dinner with a coupon for a free beverage from Farmstrong Brewing Company after the ride.
Registration opens at 7 am. All activities conclude by 4 pm, so please ensure you finish your route within this time frame. Free parking is ample, and restrooms will be available at the start/finish line and at all rest stops.
Showers will be available at the start/finish area. Course maps can be downloaded from the Skagit Bike Club's website a week prior to the event. Check the website for the most accurate and updated routes. Bring a properly fitting helmet and a bike in good working order; there will be a mechanic on duty for emergencies.
Join us for a memorable cycling experience with hundreds of fellow enthusiasts on beautiful Skagit County roads!
