AWARE Wildlife Night Owl 5K

The Night Owl 5K is a run/walk through Panola Mountain State Park, just outside of Atlanta, with all proceeds benefitting AWARE's mission of wildlife rehabilitation and education! We accept injured and orphaned native Georgia wildlife, like an owl hit by a car or a baby opossum that lost its mom. We heal their wounds if they're injured, raise them up if they're orphaned, always with the goal of returning them to the wild.

On race day, non-releasable AWARE wildlife will be there to cheer you on from the sidelines and greet you at the start/finish line. You’ll get pictures with the animals, a t-shirt, a chance to win medals, and more. About half our participants walk, so it's suitable for runners/walkers of all ages and skill levels.
