About the Course

The Capture The Flags Ultra offers a challenging course that traverses through the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. The terrain is a mix of technical sections, bolted ropes, and ladders. With the Linville Central Rescue Squad on standby, participants can feel secure navigating through this beautiful yet rugged terrain.

Timed Formats

• 12-hour Timed Format: Ages 13+. Collect flags within a 12-hour window, with game starting at 7 AM and ending at 7 PM.
• 6-hour Timed Format: Ages 13+. Collect flags from 12 PM to 6 PM.

Participants must have completed a marathon (for 12-hour) or half-marathon (for 6-hour) within the last two years in order to register.

Registration Fees

• 12hrs - Registration: $202.92 (increases after January 31)
• 6hrs - Registration: $140.24 (increases after January 31)

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers for various roles, including start/finish area support and aid station assistance. Volunteers can earn credit for 2026 events!
