About the Event
Get ready to join the second annual Ducky Dash 5K and show your support for the neurofibromatosis community! On Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at 9:00 am (with check-in starting at 8 am), head to Herrick Lake in Wheaton, IL for a fantastic "rubber ducky race-themed" event.
Even if you're not running, come out to cheer on the participants and consider "adopting" a "duck" (runner) for a chance to win a prize. By participating, you'll be contributing to creating hope for individuals living with neurofibromatosis.
All runners and walkers will receive amazing race/walk swag, including a Dick Pond gift card for free socks, a medal, Race T, and finish line treats. Dress up in your best ducky gear for a chance to win the best costume award!
With timed and scored tracking by Race Time and announcements and DJ by Rick Sandusky, the Ducky Dash promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Event Details
Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up: Friday, May 16, 2025, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Dick Pond Athletics.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up: Saturday, May 17, 2025, 8:00 AM.
5K Race Start: Saturday, May 17, 2025, 9:00 AM.
Course will start and finish by the East Shelter at Herrick Lake (enter off of Butterfield Road). The 5K Course is 4 loops around the lake.
