Event Details

The Frauenbewegung Rennrad promises an enjoyable ride in the company of women. This event, part of the Cyclingworld program, kicks off the "Good Time Tuesday" series as it enters its third season.

This year, we will have Iris Slappendel riding with us, which we are particularly excited about. Feel free to chat with her, ask questions about her experiences at the Tour de France Femmes, and check out her new summer collection at the Schicken Mütze booth.

Ride Information

We emphasize the importance of group dynamics, aiming to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants. We're hoping for sunshine as we gather a notable peloton of women ready to ride approximately 60 flat kilometers through some of the most beautiful spots near Düsseldorf.

Participants should be aware that the pace is important, but safety and enjoyment are our primary goals. This ride is organized by women from Schicken Mütze and other members of the Düsseldorf women’s cycling community. We welcome anyone who identifies as a woman, including FLINTA individuals.

Logistics

• Date: Saturday, March 29, 2024
• Time: Starts at 10:00 AM
• Location: Main entrance to the Messe at bicycle parking on Areal Böhler, Hansaallee 321, 40549 Düsseldorf
• Participation Limit: 45 participants
• Bikes allowed: All roadworthy bikes with drop handlebars (Race bikes, Gravel bikes; no triathlon setups, fixies, or pedelecs)
• Pace: Average speed between 22-25 km/h

Tickets

Your ticket includes a personal Messe entry code. Bags can be left at the Messe’s wardrobe.
