Freedom Bike Ride

The Freedom Bike Ride takes place on Saturday, June 14, 2025. It includes the Freedom Ride Chicago and the Juneteenth Freedom Ride Virtual.

Celebrate 2025 with a bicycling odyssey across the rolling through Bronzeville. The annual Freedom Bicycle Ride offers a 18.65 KM route. Each route treats riders to scenic rolling countryside. The longer routes include some of southern Indiana’s most challenging hills. Routes can be viewed and downloaded at the links below: 12 Mile Route, 20 Mile Route, 50 Mile Route, 65 Mile Route. Routes may be slightly different based on road conditions.

Starting Point & Registration Information: Riders will start the ride in 2025 at the Jasper High School Tennis/Softball/JV Baseball parking lot | 1000-1044 W 15th Street Jasper, IN 47546. Day-of registration is available from 7:00 AM to 7:40 AM Eastern Time. Information on specific details of registration and start location will be available in June. Day-of registration fees: Individual: $35, Age 15 & younger: $15, Family (2 members and over): $35. T-Shirts are included. A group start takes place at 8:00 am.

Rider Support: SAG support will have minimal tools to assist in minor bicycle repairs only. All riders should be prepared to make their own repairs. Riders will be on their own after 1 pm, or if they leave the route.

Safety: Helmets are required. An adult must accompany all cyclists under the age of 16. Riders must obey all Illinois traffic laws.
