Frosty 5K & Frosty Walk/Dog Walk

Event Details

Join us for FamilyCore's 26th Annual Frosty 5K & Dog Walk on Saturday, January 25, 2025! The race starts at 9:00 am on the riverfront trail in front of RC Outfitters (311 SW Water Street, Peoria, Illinois). The 1-Mile Dog Walk starts immediately after the runners leave the starting area.

The Frosty 5K After Party will be held immediately following the race at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. Follow the After Party directional signs for race placement announcements, refreshments, a Silent Auction, and more!

All event proceeds benefit FamilyCore's programs and services for children and families in the tri-county area. Last year alone, FamilyCore touched 17,883 lives.

Registration Details

• $90 Family Discount for families of 3 (discount applied in cart)
• Registration fees for 5K Run:
  • $35.00 before January 5
  • $45.00 between January 6 – January 19
  • $35.00 after January 19, shirts no longer offered
• Registration fees for Frosty Walk/Dog Walk:
  • $35.00 until January 25, shirts no longer offered

January 24: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm - Packet Pickup at RC Outfitters

January 25 (Race Day):

• 8:00 am - Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup at RC Outfitters
• 9:00 am - Race begins
• 9:00 am - Walkers/dog walkers start right after the runners
• 10:00 am - Awards Ceremony at Peoria Riverfront Museum
