Race Format

The Yellowbrick Backyard Ultra will feature a "last runner standing" format with a 4.16 mile loop starting every hour until only one runner remains. Runners must return to the start line on time to continue racing!

Swag & Awards

All participants will receive a T-shirt, sticker, and participant award. Special prizes await those who reach 50k, 50 miles, and 100 miles!

Race Rules

• All runners must return to the start line on the hour
• A 5-minute, 2-minute, and 1-minute warning will be given before each loop starts
• No pacers allowed on the course
• Notify organizers before leaving the race if you choose to drop out

FAQs

Bring your dog? Yes, dogs are welcome at the race but must stay on a leash. Can you have pacers? Unfortunately, no pacers are allowed during the race. Is the course hilly? The loop has some small rolling hills with an elevation gain of approximately 70’ per mile.
