Frozen Trash Panda

Welcome to the Frozen Trash Panda event, part of the Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series! This exciting race will take place on January 4, 2025, at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama. Participants can choose between a Half Marathon and a 10K, both set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful mountains.

Event Details

The Frozen Trash Panda is designed for both new and experienced trail runners. The event aims to provide a competitive yet fun atmosphere, helping runners build their endurance through the winter months. All runners will receive a t-shirt and a finisher award upon completion.

Registration Information

Registration for the Half Marathon is $89.85, while the 10K registration is $72.48. Please note that prices include taxes and fees. The race is capped at 400 runners, so be sure to secure your spot early!

Course Highlights

Participants can expect several bluff views, creek crossings, and beautiful mountain scenery along the course. Aid stations will be available, providing water, Gatorade, and snacks to keep you energized.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for fantastic volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteers who work a 5-hour shift will receive free entry into a future RunningLane Event.

Weather Considerations

Average winter temperatures in Huntsville range from 25F to 55F. In case of severe weather, we may delay the start or cancel the event to ensure the safety of all participants.
