Wasatch 100 Mile Endurance Run
- Running
- 161 km
The Grand Slam of Ultrarunning Series is a unique challenge that brings together five prestigious 100-mile ultramarathons: Old Dominion, Western States, Vermont, Leadville Trail, and Wasatch Front.
To be eligible for the Grand Slam Award, runners must complete three out of the four races in the series before finishing the Wasatch Front 100. Registration for the Wasatch Front 100 is crucial, as it is the climactic event of the series.
Founded in 1985 by Fred Pilon, the Grand Slam recognizes the excellence in ultrarunning. Collaborating with race directors, the inaugural award was presented in 1986, and the tradition has continued ever since.
