Independence Triathlon

Located on the outskirts of Allentown, PA at Lake Nockamixon State Park, the Independence Triathlon is perfect to kick off the racing season. Just 90 minutes from New York City and 60 minutes from Philadelphia, this race offers a fantastic opportunity for athletes to test their legs and enjoy a competitive atmosphere. Participants will complete one or two laps of 750 meters in the refreshing waters of Lake Nockamixon, followed by Sprint or Olympic distance triathlons on a closed bike course. The local fire police ensure that the roads are safe and car-free, allowing for a scenic and enjoyable bike ride. Additionally, there’s a picturesque run course alongside Route 563.
