Ladybug 50k

Event Details

WHAT: The Ladybug 50k is a virtual event in memory of one of our good friends, the Ladybug Lady, Cathy Troisi. A veteran of 400 marathons and ultras, Cathy raised over a quarter of a million dollars for Dana Farber through her efforts. Join us to honor her legacy!

RUN A VIRTUAL 50K anywhere: Treadmill, Track, Trail, Roads. You have 24 hours from your start time to complete the 50k distance, which can be done all at once or broken up into segments.

WHEN: Log your run any time during March 1-31. Cathy's birthday is March 31, which is why we celebrate this month.

REG FEE: The fee is $45, which includes all taxes and fees. All money, minus taxes and fees, will be donated in Cathy's name to Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund.

SWAG: Participants will receive a Ladybug Medal and ladybug-related memorabilia as a keepsake of their run.

REPORTING RESULTS: Email your 50k evidence (strava, gps, or pictures of treadmill mileage and time) to [email protected]. Include photos and stories about your run complete with the subject line: LAST NAME - Ladybug 50k - EVIDENCE.
