About the Event
The Midway Shelter Winter Run/Walk features a 5k and 10k option, along with a Kids Run for children 11 and under. The event takes place at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal, with views of the San Francisco skyline and Alameda Main Island. The routes utilize Harbor Bay Parkway and asphalt trails, providing a beautiful flat course.
Event Timeline:
- December 6th: 4:30pm-6:30pm ~ Packet Pick-up at Faction Brewery
- December 7th:
- 7:30am ~ Race day registration opens
- 8:30am ~ 10K race starts
- 8:45am ~ 5k race starts
- 9:45am ~ Kids 1/2 mile run starts (dependent on the conclusion of 5k/10k)
- 9:45am ~ 5k and 10k awards are available
Participate in this community event and support Midway Shelter's mission to provide a safe environment for women and children experiencing homelessness. Donations are welcome and tax deductible.
