About the Event
Event Information
The Wimpy Mile is the fastest mile in Dahlonega! This exciting event takes place on February 17, 2025, starting at Hancock Park. Participants will enjoy a beautiful mile-long course with a 180' elevation decrease, providing both competitive runners and casual walkers an excellent opportunity for success.
Event Schedule
- 8:00 AM - Race Day Pickup & Registration Opens
- 9:00 AM - Race START
Awards
Medals will be awarded to all registered finishers. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers, alongside a $140 gift voucher from Big Peach Running Company.
Course Details
The certified mile course moves downhill along Wimpy Mill Rd, finishing at the Yahoola Reservoir boat ramp. This scenic route is perfect for all participants willing to enjoy a great outdoor activity!

All proceeds benefit the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club, supporting various local charities. Enjoy discounts at local businesses and services on race weekend as a race participant!
