41st Annual Causeway Run & Walk

Event Details

Join us for the 41st Annual Causeway Run & Walk! Scheduled for April 12, 2025, this year's event will follow a 6.2 mile (10K) course starting at the Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, continuing onto the Queen Isabella Causeway and over the Laguna Madre Bay, culminating at the Beach Waterpark on South Padre Island.

Course and Schedule

10K Run: Starts at 7:00 a.m. sharp at the Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center.
Fitness Walk: Starts at 7:15 a.m. at the same location.

Registration Details

Early bird registration by March 11, 2025:
$40 for 10K Run
$35 for 5K Walk
$30 for Students & Military with valid ID.

Late registration after March 12, 2024:
$45 for 10K Run
$40 for 5K Walk
$35 for Students & Military with ID.

Course Highlights

10K course features one major incline with water stations along the route and at the finish line. The Fitness Walk is 3 miles long, ending at the Beach Waterpark.

Awards

Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers and age division winners. Finisher medals will also be given (while supplies last).
