Event Details

The Hatcher Pass Races feature a marathon, a 50 mile race, and a relay event, all set against the backdrop of the scenic Hatcher Pass area in Alaska.

Course Information

The marathon course features intense elevation gain, with the first 25 miles being predominantly uphill, summiting at around 3900 ft, while the 50 Mile race features a total elevation gain of 5000 ft.

Aid Stations and Support

There are 7 aid stations along the course, ensuring participants have access to water, electrolytes, and nutrition. Pacers are allowed only for the 50 mile race but not for the marathon or relay events.

Gear Requirements

Participants must bring certain gear, including a minimum 16 oz water bottle and additional recommended items for safety.

Parking and Transportation

Limited parking is available; participants are encouraged to carpool. This race is point-to-point, and each participant must arrange their own transportation from the finish line.
