The Valley Thaw Out Races is a fundraiser for the MatSu Running Club, providing opportunities for coached running workouts and group runs during the spring and summer. Grab your friends and family to run this community event!

• Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles - $70.00
• 10K: 6.2 Miles - $55.00
• 5K: 3.1 Miles - $40.00
• Kids 1K Run: - Free

Course Details

All races start and finish at Pyrah's Pioneer Peak Farm. Runners will navigate through scenic routes on Bodenburg Loop with specific courses for each distance.

• Half Marathon: 10:00 AM
• 10K: 10:30 AM
• 5K: 11:00 AM
• Kids Run: 11:30 AM

Race Registration

Registration opens on November 4, 2024, and closes on April 19, 2025. Please note that there is no day-of registration.

Race Swag

All finishers will receive a race shirt, finisher's medal, and stickers. Kids will receive a finisher's token and a sticker.
