January Jam - Terrain Park Event

About this Event

The January Jam lasts for 7 hours and offers an exciting competition format. Riders will participate in either a slopestyle jam or a rail jam, depending on weather conditions and the readiness of the jumps by January 11. Judging will be based on the variety, difficulty, and style displayed by participants.

Location

Check In: Located at the Events Office (3915 Big Mountain Road)

Competitions: Held at Chair 3 / Whitefish Terrain Parks.

Awards: Located at the Events Office

Registration & Fees

Online pre-registration is required and closes at 7:00 AM on event day.

Single Event: $30

Every participant must check in to sign in, receive a bib, and flagging tape to designate your spin/ride direction.

Categories

All categories exist for both skiers and snowboarders. Categories may be combined if fewer than three competitors register in either class.

• Top Class - Male Skier
• Top Class - Female Skier
• Top Class - Male Snowboarder
• Top Class - Female Snowboarder
• Amateur Class - Male Skier
• Amateur Class - Female Skier
• Amateur Class - Male Snowboarder
• Amateur Class - Female Snowboarder
• Grom Class (ages 8-12) - Male & Female Skier/Snowboarder

Schedule

• 7:00 AM - Mandatory Online Registration Closes
• 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM – Check-In outside the Events Office
• 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM – Inspection for ALL Competitors
• 11:15 AM – Meeting for Open and Amateur Division Competitors
• 11:30 AM – Start Top Class
• 12:15 PM – Start Amateur Class
• 1:00 PM – Start Grom Class (ladies event starts @ 2:30)

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED for all competitors.
