2026 AMERICA’S FINEST CITY HALF MARATHON & 5K

Join us for the 49th annual America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, August 16, 2026! The AFC Half Marathon is a scenic, point-to-point race starting at Cabrillo National Monument, running through Point Loma, along San Diego Bay, and finishing in Balboa Park. The 5K offers a fast, flat course through Balboa Park.

Registration Fees:

• Half Marathon: $108.90
• 5K Run/Walk: $51.70
• Virtual Half Marathon: $108.90
• Virtual 5K: $51.70

Event Details:

• Half Marathon Start Time: 6:15 AM PDT (3.25-hour time limit)
• 5K Start Time: 6:10 AM PDT (1-hour time limit)
• Virtual options available for both races.

Team Incentive: Teams of 25+ members qualify for a team booth. Team scoring is available for the half marathon (minimum 10 members, two of each gender).
