2026 Call of the Wild Half Marathon & 5 Mile

This inaugural event in Jack London Historic State Park will take you through the heart of the Beauty Ranch which Jack London created in the early 1900's. This is the ranch where he wrote most of his famous books, including the Call of the Wild, Sea Wolf, White Fang and Valley of the Moon. Starting and finishing in the picnic area next to the London Cottage, the trail run takes you past the famous concrete silos, offering views of the vineyard and leading into the pristine hillsides filled with madrone, Douglas fir, black oak, buckeye, bigleaf maple, and grassy meadows on the slopes of Sonoma Mountain.

• 5 Mile - Youth (Age 17 and under): $28.74 (Early Bird), $44.79 (Regular)
• Half Marathon - Adult (Age 18 and over): $87.58 (Early Bird), $98.28 (Apr 1-May 1), $108.98 (Race Day)
• 5 Mile - Adult (Age 18 and over): $76.88 (Early Bird), $87.58 (Apr 1-May 1), $98.28 (Race Day)

COURSE CUT-OFF TIME

3.5 HOURS (~16:00min/mile pace for half marathoners, ~42:00min/mile pace for 5 Milers). Hikers/Walkers are welcome to participate.

Additional Details

• ATHLETE CHECK-IN: 6:30-7:45 AM at the start/finish area.
• COURSE MARKINGS: Orange ribbon.
• AID STATIONS: Miles 3 & 9.6 for half marathon; Mile 2.5 for 5 Mile.
• INCENTIVES: T-Shirts for all participants. Personalized award ribbons to top three finishers (male/female, each age group). Finisher medals for Half Marathoners.
• PARKING: $10/vehicle at Jack London State Park.
• CANCELLATIONS: Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rollover credit available with a $20 fee if cancelled by April 2, 2026.
• HEADPHONES POLICY: Not allowed for safety reasons.
