2026 Escape the Swamp Triathlon

The 2026 Escape the Swamp Triathlon is on Sunday March 15, 2026.

Come join us for a spectacular swim in the O’Connell Center Pool, a bike through UF’s scenic campus, and a run around the heart of our beautiful campus center. Celebrate three sports in a single sunshine-state morning. Gather up your energy and best friends for an event that will bring out the TriGator in you!!! This race is perfect for just about anyone! Maybe you want to see what a triathlon is like? Maybe you’re training for your next race? Maybe you want to come in first? Maybe you just want to finish something more than a color run? This event is FOR YOU!

Your participation in this race provides us with the funding necessary for the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Club to compete. With your help, we’ve consistently been one of the top collegiate triathlon teams in Florida.

TriGators Alumni are welcome to come to the 2026 Escape the Swamp Triathlon on March 15th, 2026, and experience this race on their old stomping grounds! Come race in the Swamp and support your favorite FCTC Team at the same time!

No Refunds and No Transfers. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Each entry fee to the 2026 Escape the Swamp Triathlon will be considered a donation to the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Race.

Each participant registered before March 1st, 2026 will receive an event race shirt. All finishers will receive a unique Escape the Swamp Triathlon finisher medal.

Age Group awards will follow the 5-year age limit from 9 and under up to 75+.

Event Distances:

• Super Sprint: A short 250-meter swim (that’s two and a half laps in the pool), a 3.4-mile bike ride, and a quick 1.1-mile run!
• Sprint Distance: 350-meter swim (3 and a half laps in the O’Connell Center Pool), 10.2-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run through the heart of the University of Florida campus!
