2026 Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest

The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest is an opportunity for swimmers of all ages and abilities to take on the challenge and adventure of swimming from Leighton Beach, Fremantle across the open ocean to Wadjemup/Rottnest Island.

Port to Pub is not just a swim; it's an endeavour that brings a community together, promotes health in all its forms, supports local businesses, and uplifts participants to achieve what they might never have thought possible. This iconic WA event celebrates its 10th year in 2026.

Port to Pub swimmers cross a 19.7km stretch of open ocean. Entrants can choose to do the event as an individual, duo, or in teams of 3, 4, or 6. For our 10th year in 2026, there is also a limited number of Team of 10 spots offered. A 25km Ultramarathon is also offered to individual swimmers. This route includes a 5km loop north to Cottesloe and back before joining the direct route to Wadjemup.

In addition to the incredible efforts put into training and racing, many Port to Pub swimmers raise funds for causes close to their hearts. Participants can register to fundraise for their charities of choice on the Port to Pub Grassrootz page. Port to Pub also encourages participants to support Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, our charity partner solely dedicated to supporting Perth Children's Hospital and wider health services for children and families in our WA communities.
