2026 Run For Foxy Roxie

This is the 4th Run for Foxy Roxie 5k. It's a memorial race for Roxanne Pickrell ("Foxy Roxie"), the late daughter of Jason and Cathy Pickrell. Roxie passed in 2019, at age 13, after a brief battle with brain cancer. This race is a way to honor her memory and give back to our community through her non-profit, the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund. Our mission is to #supportacause. We fundfundraise to donate to our LOCAL non-profits! It's a fun event with cool t-shirts and awards! This year we will be in a new location. It will start and finish in Downtown Owensboro at Smother's Park Overlook Stage. A part of the race will take you down Frederica Street. We have also added a 1 mile race and a Kid's Dash! Proceeds from this year's 5k will support the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers in the upcoming Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle.
