2026 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest

Race Info

Grab your costume and running shoes and head out to the 2026 Winters Runners and Walkers Club Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest on Sunday, October 25th. We’re going to have a WICKEDLY good time. This event is a thriller for the entire family. In addition to the 1 Mile Adult, 5K Timed & 10K Timed, kids will scream with excitement on the 1 Mile Monster Dash. We will have an individual costume contest, as well as a best group costume contest. Please join us for Winter’s 7th Annual Halloween Fun Run sponsored by the Winters Runners and Walkers Club.

Nutrishop Electrolyte mix will be available at one of the 5k/10k course water stations.

Start Times

• 8:00am Start 10K (3 Hour Limit after race start time)
• 8:10am Start 5K (3 Hour Limit after race start time)
• 9:30am 1 Mile Kids Monster Dash and 1Mile Adult

Registered Participants

All Races Finishers receive custom medals. 5K and 10K finishers receives Chip Timing. 1 mile Adult, 5K and 10K Finishers receives a custom medal + Tech Tee + One Free Hooby’s beverage (must be 21 years old for beer) (wine not Included) “ONLY FOR USE ON 10/25 FROM 8:00AM-12:00PM”. 1 Mile Monster Dash Finishers receives a custom medal + Tech Tee. All Shirts Guaranteed before 10/9/26).

NOTE: The 5K & 10K course is open to regular traffic, please observe all traffic laws. Volunteers may be at intersections along the course. The 5K & 10K course will start opening sometime after 10:00 AM, there is a 3 hour timed course Limit for 5K and 10K races after the race start times. The start line will be separated by Pace Markers.

Awards

Place Awards for 5K&10K Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners. Costume Contest prizes for Individual and Best Group choices 5k / 10K and 1 mile races.

Fees

• 1 mile Monster Dash $20.00.
• 1 mile individual adult/teen $20.00.
• 5K W/O Shirt 1/26 until 9/11 $30.00. 9/12 until 10/24 $35.00, then $40.00 on Race Day.
• 5K with Shirt 1/26 until 9/11 $35.00. 9/12 until 10/24 $40.00, then $45.00 on Race Day.
• 10K W/O Shirt 1/26 until 9/11 $35.00, 9/12 until 10/24 $40.00. then $45.00 on Race Day.
• 10K with Shirt 1/26 until 9/11 $40.00, 9/12 until 10/24 $45.00. then $50.00 on Race Day.
