21st Annual Bear Foot 5K and Half Mile Fun Run

Event Details:

The 21st Annual Bear Foot 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run will be held on March 14, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Sunshine Elementary School, located at 231 Toney Road, Bostic, NC 28018. All proceeds benefit Sunshine Elementary School K-5 students. This event will be held rain or shine! No pets, please!

Shirt preference will be available to 5K Runners if registered by February 27, 2026. After February 27, shirt preference availability is not guaranteed. The 1/2 Mile Fun Run is for children 5th grade and under and has no charge; it does not include a shirt.

Additional shirts will be available for sale while supplies last.

Age Divisions & Awards:

Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups will receive a medal for the 5K: 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95+. Overall Winners: Top 3 Male and Female in the 5k will receive a trophy!

The 1/2 mile Fun Run for 5th grade and under is not timed, but every child will receive a medal.

• Race start time: 8:30 AM
