Description: We had such a great time celebrating Christmas in July, we are doing it again! Early bird sign-up: $30.00 until August 31st. After that, it is $40.00! Grab your Santa hat and hit the beach for the Carteret Partnership for Children’s Second Annual Santa Beach Walk/Run 5k! The Santa Beach Run is a great way to celebrate the holiday season and support one of Carteret County’s favorite charities. The starting line is at the historic Atlantic Beach Circle in Atlantic Beach, NC. You will dash on the iconic scenic beach while raising money to help children in our local community. There is also a Reindeer Fun Run, a 50-yard walk/run. It is free to 12-year-olds and under. Please sign a waiver for each child. The race package includes a Santa hat, beard, and medal! Wear your favorite Christmas outfit or red shorts and a red shirt! The top male and female 5K race winners will be awarded a trophy. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!! This is neither a timed nor a sanctioned race.
