3RD ANNUAL RACE FOR OPEN SPACE 5K & 1 MILE WALK...for the Fourth Street Preserve

Join the Seashore Striders and The Open Space Alliance Campaign for a 5k Run & 1-mile "fun walk" to support the maintenance and public access of the Fourth Street Preserve.

Events:

• 5k Run/Walk: Price: $25 (Early Registration through April 19th), $30 (Race Week), $35 (Race Day). Start Time: 9:00 AM EDT.
• 1m "Walk": Price: $20 (Early Registration through April 19th), $25 (Race Week), $30 (Race Day). Start Time: 9:00 AM EDT.
• 5k Run or Walk "VIRTUAL": Price: $30. Registration ends April 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT.
• 1 Mile "Fun Walk". "VIRTUAL": Price: $25. Registration ends April 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT.

Race Details:

• Race Course: 3.11 mile course from George H.P. Smith Park to 4th St. and into the Pilottown Development to the turnaround and back. The 1 mile walk will turnaround near the "open space" and back.
• Race Timing: Chip timed by Seashore Strider Event Production.
• Amenities: Refreshments, short sleeve tech race t-shirts guaranteed to pre-registered runners by Monday of Race Week.
• Awards: Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, and top 3 finishers in 10 year age groups (9 & U to 70 & O) for the 5k. No awards for the 1 mile walk.
