40th Annual Boogie's Buddy Race

Join us for Boogie's Buddy Race! 8 am Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Rio Grande Park in Aspen. Presented by East Coast Asset Management.

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and kick off your Fourth of July weekend at the 40th Annual Boogie's Buddy Race! This is one of Aspen's most anticipated summer events. Race entry fees increase on June 1st.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, we've got a race for you! With a 5-mile, 5k, and a family fun run, everyone can join in on the fun. Plus, the race is family and pet-friendly, so bring along your little ones and furry friends.

All runners are welcome to pick up a race shirt, sizing available on a first-come, first-serve basis!

This family and pet-friendly event supports the Buddy Program’s four youth mentoring programs and over 600 youth, families, and volunteers from Aspen to Glenwood Springs, and Rifle!

RACE START TIMES:

• 8:00 am: 5-Mile Race
• 8:05 am: 5k Race
• 9:00 am: 1-Mile Family and Canine Run/Walk

PRICES:

• Early Bird Anniversary Promo: May 1-SOLD OUT $40/the first 40 individuals in honor of our 40th Anniversary of the Race!
• Early Bird: May 1-May 31 $55/individual
• June 1-July 3: $70/individual
• Day of Race: $75/individual
• Family Fun Run (only): $150/family (registration for a family of six or fewer members, not timed, only one bib per family)

Registration Note: Online registration for 5k and 5-Mile Races close at 7 am on July 4. Only the Family Fun Run will allow registration after 7 am until 9 am on race day.
