Across the Lake Swim Skaha Lake

The Across the Lake Swim Skaha Lake is a unique swimming event that includes a challenge of 11.8km and 4.5km swim distances. The 11.8km point-to-point course starts in Penticton's Skaha Lake Park and finishes in Okanagan Falls, while the 4.5km swim starts in Kaleden and also ends in Okanagan Falls.

The water temperature averages 23°C (74°F), making for a refreshing swim experience. Participants in the 11.8km swim must have a support paddler, while paddlers are not required for the shorter course.

GPS tracking is provided for all 11.8km swimmers, allowing friends and family to follow your journey in real time.

This event also acknowledges the ancestral territory of the Syilx Nation.
