Acerca del evento
The Albany IceBreaker Challenge is a one of a kind Capital District running/walking road race that challenges runners and walkers against rowers from the Albany Rowing Center. Runners will travel along the Corning Preserve Bicycle Path while rowers race alongside on the Hudson River. This event is also a major fundraiser for the Albany Rowing Center.
Join us for this exciting event at the Albany Rowing Center Boathouse in the Corning Preserve. The first 250 registrants will receive a souvenir t-shirt and prizes will be awarded for all race category winners!
Event Schedule
- Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.
- Kids run starts at 9:30 a.m.
- 5K starts at 10:00 a.m.
Packet Pickup
Packet pick-up and last chance registration will be on Friday, March 27, from 4-7 p.m. at Common Roots Albany Outpost or on race day starting at 8:00 a.m.
Parking
Parking is available at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch. Overflow parking will be directed by attendants if the lot is full.
