Race Information

Anderson Humane's Walk4Animals & 5K Run is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Batavia, IL. This event supports Anderson Humane's mission to provide life-changing care for thousands of animals annually.

Choose between the 5K Run (Timed) or the 1.5 Mile Walk. The 5K is a timed event, while the 1.65-mile walk around the Batavia Riverwalk is not timed.

Every dollar raised helps Anderson Humane provide food, shelter, medical care, and support to domestic and wild animals.

• 6:45 am: Registration Opens
• 8:00 am: 5K Begins
• 9:00 am: Walk Begins
• 1:00 pm: Lure Course & Exhibits Close

• 5k Run (Timed)
  Price: $45 (Day-of: $60)
  Starts at 8:00 AM CDT
• 1.5 Mile Walk
  Price: $30 ($10 for ages 1-17)
  Starts at 9:00 AM CDT

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd place Men & Women 5K participants in various age categories.

Note: If unable to attend, you can walk or run in your own neighborhood on Walk Day or gather donations.
