ANDREW'S TOP GUN RUN 5K

Event Details

On Saturday, March 28th, the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts of America and the Andrew McMorris Foundation will host the 5th Annual Andrew’s Top Gun Run to raise funds for Scholarships and Scouterships. This event honors the memory of Andrew McMorris, who tragically passed away in 2018. Participants have the opportunity to run or walk the runway in his honor. The course is described as fast and flat, offering a chance for a personal best time.

Events Offered

• ANDREW'S TOP GUN RUN 5K (IN-PERSON): Starts at 9:00 AM EDT.
• ANDREW'S TOP GUN RUN 5K (VIRTUAL): Participants can run anywhere and post results by March 30th.
• ANDREW'S TOP GUN FUN RUN: Starts at 8:30 AM EDT, open to children 12 and under.

EPCAL Park (On the RUNWAY Next to the Riverhead Building Supply off of Rt 25), 962 Burman Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, US.

Registration & Pricing

• 5K (In-Person/Virtual): $30 with event shirt if registered by March 18th; $35 Day-of for in-person.
• Fun Run: $15 with event shirt if registered by March 18th; $20 Day-of.
• Registration closes March 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM EDT, with on-site registration available from 7:30 AM on race day.

Amenities & Awards

• Chip Timed Event for 5K.
• T-shirts guaranteed for registrations by March 18th.
• Refreshments for all finishers.
• Awards for top three male and female finishers overall and in various age groups for the 5K.
• Special prize for Fun Run participants.

Virtual Race Information

Runners can complete their race anywhere and post results by March 30th. Instructions for submitting virtual results and downloading race bibs are provided.
