Animal Friends 5K and Dog Jog

Location: Fairfield Youth Football Fields, 4875 Groh Lane, Fairfield, OH 45014

The Animal Friends 5K and Dog Jog is a fundraising event supporting Animal Friends. The day includes a chip-timed 5K run/walk and a leisurely 1.5-mile Dog Jog.

Event Schedule:

• 7:45 a.m.: Same Day Registration and packet pickup.
• 9:00 a.m.: 5K Run/Walk begins
• 9:30 a.m.: Dog Jog begins

Courses:

• 5K RUN/WALK: 3.1 miles (chip-timed, no pets allowed). Registration: $35 ($40 on race day). Awards for top 3 male and female runners.
• DOG JOG (Not Timed): 1.5 miles (leisurely pace, with dogs). Registration: $30 ($35 on race day).
• Donations & Tribute Signs: Price: $0. Available through May 15, 2026.

Participant Perks:

• Event medal for the first 200 5K finishers.
• Swag bag of giveaways.
• Flubs Ice Cream Treats for participants and pup cups for dogs.
• T-shirts available for purchase through May 24.
• Tribute Signs available for purchase to honor pets.

Important Notes:

• The event is rain-or-shine. No refunds will be issued.
• Dogs must be on a short leash and under control. Flexi/retractable leads are not permitted.
• Strollers are allowed in the Dog Jog but not the 5K.
