Beast of the Brazos

The Beast of the Brazos is an open-water swim event taking place on September 12, 2026 in Waco, TX. This year's event includes 750 meter, 1.2 mile and 2.4 mile swims, mirroring distances from full and half IRONMAN Waco courses. All registered participants will receive a swim cap, dri-fit shirt, and finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each non-wetsuit age category.

• September 11th, 4 PM - 7 PM: Packet Pickup at EVEN Hotel
• September 12th, 6:45 AM - 7:45 AM: Packet Pickup/Late Registration at Indian Springs Park
• September 12th, 7:30 AM - 7:45 AM: Opening Ceremonies at Indian Springs Park
• September 12th, 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: 750 meter swim
• September 12th, 9:00 AM - 11:20 AM: 2.4 mile swim
• September 12th, 10:10 AM - 11:20 AM: 1.2 mile swim
• September 12th, 11:30 AM: Awards Ceremony
• September 12th, 12:00 PM: After Party at Even Hotel

Tickets:

• 2.4 Mile Swim (Wetsuit/No Wetsuit): $70
• 1.2 Mile Swim (Wetsuit/No Wetsuit): $55
• 750 Meter Swim (Wetsuit/No Wetsuit): $55

Note: Prices increase after September 30, 2025. All sales are final. If the water temperature exceeds 90 degrees, the course may be shortened.
