Introducing the Blue Heron 10K Trail Race — Limited to 100 Runners!

• Distance: 6.1 Miles
• Elevation Gain: 1,023 ft
• Start Time: 10:00 AM EST
• Race Cut-off: 3 hours

This challenging, scenic race takes place through the stunning Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area. Spots are limited to 100 runners.

Registration Details: $50. The shirt deadline is April 25th.

Packet Pickup: Friday, May 15, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM at McCreary County Tourism Office, 14 Geary Ave., Whitley City, KY 42653.

The Course: The route follows the Blue Heron Loop Trail, featuring panoramic gorge views, whitewater rapids, sandstone bluffs, and waterfalls. It includes climbing wooden step ladders and navigating the "Crack-in-the-Rock" passage.

Awards: Top 3 Overall for Male and Female, plus Top 3 in age categories.

Aid Stations & Cutoffs: Spur Aid Station (Mile 3.4) cut-off at 11:40 AM. Finish cut-off at 1:00 PM.

Race Day Check-in & Registration: Blue Heron, 9:00 AM.
