Bristol Mum-A-Thon Road Race 2026

Race Overview

The Bristol Mum-A-Thon Road Race 2026 features four events: the 8 Mile Race, 8K Road Race, 5K Road Race, and the Monster Mile. These courses wind through the quiet neighborhoods of northeast Bristol, offering a challenging climb before mile 1, followed by nice flats and a downhill finish. The run is designed to be facing traffic.

Location & Parking

The race begins and ends at St. Paul Catholic High School, located at 1001 Stafford Ave, Bristol, CT. Participants must use the Maltby Street entrance for parking, which is plentiful on school grounds. Please obey all posted signs.

Charity

A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Beekley Center for Breast Health & Wellness. The remaining funds will be awarded to organizations supporting local youth, continuing the tradition of Mini-Grants to various community groups.

Awards

Awards for the 8K and 5K races will be based on 10-year age groupings: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. For the 8 Mile Race, the top three male and female finishers will receive a glow-in-the-dark mummy plaque and cash awards: $150 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third. Cash prizes are subject to participation.

Timing & Swag

Timing services are provided by Platt Systems Timing. Participants can look forward to receiving one of Connecticut's most popular race shirts, which glows in the dark (Driwick Unisex). To guarantee a shirt, pre-register by September 30, 2026. Customized Halloween-themed race bibs and race photographs by www.BristolCT.net are also included.
